Do a video on Junior Malanda please Bundesliga I know you read this!!
I can smell Dopeweed La coming :P
If they went to Qatar they would have paid them to train there. Maybe they
could have used that money to re-buy Goetze and Lewandowski. (JKJKJK).
While not a German national, I respect Dortmund above all other German
clubs. Only they have had the talent to upset the monopoly that Bayern have
set in to the Bundesliga in recent years. Even now they are the only team
capable of threatening Bayern (although the odds are so unbalanced now).
They only have to avoid relegation in this season.
Bayern, while I respect as one of the best teams in the world, I dislike
for their off-pitch strategy. They know who has good players and so will
sign those players in an attempt to cripple a team’s chances of threatening
their lead. Their signings are more about weakening the opposition than
strengthening their own team. With money coming out the wazoo, they can
afford to sign the talent and maintain the monopoly. Props to Dortmund for
putting fear into them, but it’s difficult to keep the loyalty of players
when they’re being offered so much money. I highly doubt Reus will ever go
to Bayern, Hummels as well. They may leave for another club but I reckon
they’ve more loyalty than the likes of Lewandowski and Götze. In other
words, I doubt they would move to Bayern.
It just ruins the competition when a club like Bayern maintains a monopoly.
In La Liga there is at least two (now three) super-teams capable of
contending for the title. Serie A has the Juventus problem, but the Serie A
is in trouble, with most clubs losing a lot of their funding, so it doesn’t
take as much to succeed there in such an environment (besides there are
other teams who can challenge Juventus). The premier league has a number of
teams each year who can win it. The thing that all these leagues have in
common is that the winner usually changes year on year. With the
Bundesliga, it is so much more difficult for other teams to win, as Bayern
have a massive bench and about 80% of the best talent in the league playing
for them. This means that they will win it far more often, but now they
will even go to the trouble of sabotaging the opposition now to ensure that
no team will grow like theirs. It’s just poor because while it suggests the
mentality to win, it kind of ruins some of the excitement as the title race
is incredibly predictable.
Props to them for being the best team though, I just dislike the off-pitch
strategy to maintain the monopoly. I prefer them to Real Madrid, who are
not a team and more a collection of superstars, many of whom will be gone
as soon as they perform poorly or get old. At least with Bayern there is a
stronger sense of unity, and most of their players stick with the team
(Ribery, Robben, Schweinsteiger, Müller, etc). But then Real Madrid have to
play Barcelona, who have the funds and reputation to fight Madrid, meaning
that it is acceptable for Real to have this system of bringing in young
talent each year.
what is that guy doing @ 2:06
Nur Der BVB!!! Let’s get those CL Spots! Only twelve points away!
