German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have now entered into the race for the signature of West Ham United star Declan Rice. Dortmund are now on a growing list of teams that have shown interest in signing the England international midfielder and it is believed that it is now only a matter of when and not if he will be leaving West Ham. Manchester United have been recorded as one of the teams interested in signing him as the Red Devils continue their search for a proven midfielder in their bid to continue a squad revamp as they aim to chase titles next season. However, they have been put off by the £100 million that the Hammers are asking for.

Although Manchester City have been mentioned as one of the club’s that he could likely sign for, the Cityzens are not exactly seriously interested in signing him. Pep Guardiola already has a lot of quality options in midfield, including his £100 million summer recruit from Aston Villa, Jack Grealish. Dortmund, however, may have to look elsewhere in their search for a midfielder as Rice would reportedly prefer to remain in England even if he still wants to leave West Ham.
