Borussia Dortmund are leading the race to sign Dutchman DonyellMalen from PSV Eindhoven according to English publication Daily Mirror. It was revealed that the German Bundesliga giants are leading six-time European champions Liverpool in the battle to sign the exciting forward who shone at Euro 2020.

Borussia Dortmund have been boosted by the sale of Jadon Sancho to Premier League club Manchester United in a £73m deal and they have cash to burn in their quest to sign Malen from Dutch Eredivisie team PSV this summer. They could receive more money if star striker ErlingHaaland is sold amidst the interest from Champions League winners Chelsea.
Dutch international Malen is a key player for PSV Eindhoven netting 27 goals plus ten assists in 45 matches for the club in all competitions last season. Despite his goals, PSV missed out on the Dutch Eredivisie title to Ajax Amsterdam.Malen has scored 55 goals in 116 appearances for PSV since joining from Arsenal in 2018.
The aforementioned media portal revealed that Borussia Dortmund could complete a deal for Malen within two weeks and that Liverpool could switch their attention to Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman who could cost £43m. Frenchman Coman was part of the Bayern Munich squad that won the league title last season. The France national team player scored the winning goal when Bayern won the Champions League during the penultimate season.
